Jira Integration
Learn how to connect and configure your Jira instance with Ticket Mate.
Overview
Ticket Mate integrates with Jira Cloud using secure OAuth 2.0 authentication. This allows you to:
- Sync tickets automatically between Jira and Ticket Mate
- Track project progress in real-time
- Manage workflows and automation rules
- Access Jira data securely without storing credentials
Setup Instructions
1. Navigate to Jira Settings
Go to Settings → Integrations → Jira in the admin dashboard.
2. Connect Your Account
Click "Connect to Jira" to start the OAuth flow:
- You'll be redirected to Atlassian's login page
- Sign in to your Atlassian account
- Grant Ticket Mate access to your Jira instance
- You'll be redirected back to Ticket Mate
3. Verify Connection
Once connected, you'll see:
- ✅ Connection Status: Connected
- Cloud ID: Your Jira cloud instance ID
- Base URL: Your Jira instance URL

Real-Time Sync
Ticket Mate automatically syncs:
- Issues from your Jira projects
- Comments and activity updates
- Status changes and transitions
- Custom fields and metadata
Instance Lock Policy
The Instance Lock Policy prevents accidental switching between Jira instances.
Troubleshooting
Connection Failed
- ✅ Verify your Atlassian account has access
- ✅ Check network connections to Atlassian services
- ✅ Ensure cookies and pop-ups are enabled
Data Not Syncing
- ✅ Verify connection status
- ✅ Check webhook configuration
- ✅ Review Events log for errors

Ticket Mate uses Atlassian OAuth 2.0 with encrypted token storage.
